Job Description
Field Service Technician for Sartorius providing technical service on laboratory instruments. Responsibilities include customer support, service execution, and documentation with a focus on weighing technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical service for laboratory instruments with a focus on weighing technology
- Ensure 1st level support for the assigned product line
- Planable service assignments with regular travel, including travel beyond the assigned region
- Advise customers on technical issues during on-site visits
- Maintain and expand long-standing customer relationships
- Independently carry out service calls (installations, IQ/OQ qualifications, maintenance, calibrations, repairs & overhauls)
- Accurate and complete documentation of work within highly regulated environments
Requirements:
- Successfully completed vocational training, preferably in electronics or mechatronics
- Manual dexterity and strong electromechanical skills
- Qualification as a certified electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft)
- Knowledge of measurement and calibration technology, e.g., working according to ISO/DAkkS, GMP or GLP standards
- Experience in technical field service
- Strong customer focus and communication skills
- Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written, and a good command of English
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly; Class B driver’s license
