Job Description
Field service technician maintaining and repairing dental equipment for Benco Dental, the largest privately owned U.S. dental distributor. Training customers and staff while traveling to daily customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance and repair services out in the field
- Train staff on using equipment
- Train customers on using equipment
- Provide hands-on support to customers
- Offer solutions extending beyond repairs and maintenance
- Travel frequently to customer sites
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field (Preferred)
- Mechanical or Technical experience/education
- Electrical, Customer service, Military, or Software/hardware experience
- Pneumatics
- HVAC
- Routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting
- Must frequently lift/lower/carry/push/pull 1 to 55 pounds, occasionally lift/lower/carry/push/pull 56 to 100 pounds
- Ability to perform routine pushing, pulling, grasping and manual dexterity in the use of hands, arms and shoulders
- Able to work in tight spaces
- Frequent travel to customer sites (daily)
- Occasional use of power tools
