Job Description

GME Finance Director overseeing financial operations and strategic planning for Graduate Medical Education at Boston Medical Center. Leading a team and ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • responsible for all activities of the GME Finance office
  • provide financial leadership to the BMC-Boston, BMC-Brighton, and BMC-South GME offices
  • develop short- and long-term strategic plans
  • participate in financial planning and program compliance with accreditation requirements
  • establish and oversee required filing and record systems
  • supervise the Senior Manager BMC GME Finance and a team of Finance Analysts
  • serve as a resource and advisor to training program directors & coordinators
  • oversee the preparation and submission of financial materials including annual GME budget and IRIS reporting documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • 8+ years’ experience in healthcare finance setting
  • at least 3 years’ experience in GME finance function
  • MBA/CPA preferred
  • Infor or SAP experience a plus
