Job Description
FMS/Avionics Software Engineer developing software for flight management systems. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure high-quality embedded software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software for FMS/Avionics applications
- Collaborate with team members on embedded software projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation
Requirements:
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person , which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.
- Significant FMS/Avionics software experience is required
- Experience with integrated lab environments
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards
