Job Description
IKEA Food Manager managing food operations to enhance visitor experiences at IKEA Bangna, Thailand. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing sustainability actions for the store's food service.
Responsibilities:
- Encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more
- Making it fun for everyone, offering great food at low prices
- Giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again
- Providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge
- Lead and manage IKEA Food to fulfil the purpose of the function by building business and people together
- Operate IKEA Food in accordance with legislation and IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements
- Implement the IKEA HACCP plan to meet and secure store’s requirements
- Ensure the HACCP routines are known and followed in all daily work
- Implement the range matrix to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity
- Act in accordance with the IKEA Sustainability Direction and work with the team on sustainability actions
- Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool maximizing the IKEA store’s sales potential
Requirements:
- Previous management experience from high volume retail or multi-unit food service industry
- Successful experience of managing a large team
- Provide clear direction, experience of creating and implementing action plans, setting budgets, and meeting and following up on goals.
- English communication skills
- Extensive and advanced experience of successful commercial, retail management or the role of multi-unit food service manager with proven leadership capabilities and strong track-record of managing managers, including management competence.
- MS Office proficient
