Job Description

Founding Technical Program Manager building Supabase’s cross-functional delivery systems. Coordinating global software programs, dependencies, launch readiness, and async execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Join as the first Technical Program Manager and help design and build Supabase’s Technical Program Management function
  • Report to the Head of TPM
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and other stakeholders to structure and drive complex cross-team initiatives
  • Clarify scope and value, secure commitment across a distributed organization, set timelines, and lead activities from design through launch
  • Build tracking, reporting, and escalation mechanisms to surface risk and progress
  • Create processes for predictable, consistent, and coordinated launch readiness
  • Provide async teams with context to maintain progress and unblock work
  • Build stakeholder relationships and maintain transparency into program goals, commitments, risks, and delivery quality through written communication
  • Identify bottlenecks, develop resolution options, and communicate trade-offs
  • Map dependencies across projects and teams and coordinate delivery across groups without shared reporting lines
  • Hold Engineering, Product, and Design accountable for delivery outcomes while tracking risk and unblocking work
  • Develop technical and domain fluency as an active member of the delivery team and triad
  • Use and improve Linear standards across the organization

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management for software, SaaS, or systems development environments
  • Track record of leading large-scale, cross-team software delivery programs to successful completion
  • Comfort operating in a fully remote, async-first environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and quickly build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes without a direct reporting relationship
  • Strong attention to detail and execution focus grounded in data
  • Strong technical fluency to identify risk in plans and engage with senior engineers on architecture and dependencies
  • Experience with Linear, Jira, or equivalent tooling at scale
