Job Description

Technical Program Manager driving internal tooling, automation, and operational readiness at SWIVEL, a payments technology company. Leading cross-functional programs, governance, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between operational teams, internal engineering resources, and third-party tool providers to build, improve, and manage internal tooling solutions
  • Oversee a technical roadmap for internal tooling initiatives, including prioritization, resourcing, and requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
  • Establish communication plans, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, identify risks, steward frameworks and governance structures, and implement solutions for successful execution
  • Develop and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies through innovative solutions and best practices
  • Analyze business processes, performance metrics, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and continuous-improvement opportunities
  • Drive operational and technical goal-planning processes
  • Establish status-tracking mechanisms and communicate progress, risks, and priorities across the organization
  • Operate effectively with minimal day-to-day direction in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technology related field preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Program Management, with a focus on Operations or Technology use cases
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Experience managing programs and projects involving executive-level stakeholders and organizational priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, business process improvement, governance, and change management initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and drive accountability across teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing business needs
  • Experience creating executive communications, dashboards, status reporting, and performance metrics
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related productivity tools
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution excellence
  • PMP certification or related project/program management certification is preferred
  • Experience within the payments, financial services, money movement, card processing, or ACH industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with coding languages, technical systems, software development concepts, or data analytics tools is preferred
  • Experience supporting feature launches, operational readiness programs, or PMO organizations is preferred
  • Experience mentoring team members and promoting program management best practices is preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations impacting financial services or payment-processing environments is preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
  • Must not be a tobacco user, as allowed by law
