Job Description

Communications Manager developing integrated communications plans for The Nature Conservancy’s Protect program. Fostering collaboration to influence conservation action and enhance organizational visibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated communications plans to support and advance the strategic goals of the Protect program.
  • Drive complex projects, partnering on communications strategy development and leading implementation of communications initiatives.
  • Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and project outcomes to improve effectiveness.
  • Establish project goals, develop plans, budgets and schedules with input and buy-in from key stakeholders and team members.
  • Lead diverse activities and collaborate with various internal and external partners to advance specified outcomes for key Protect strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and measuring communication and engagement plans/strategies.
  • Experience writing, editing and proofreading messages for targeted audiences.
  • Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
  • Experience implementing and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills.
