Job Description

Google Ads Manager specializing in analytics for U.S.-based clients. Responsible for managing campaigns and optimizing performance through analytics within a remote structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate measurable lead and revenue growth through Google Ads
  • Maintain accurate and compliant conversion tracking systems
  • Ensure CRM and ad platform attribution alignment
  • Improve cost efficiency across campaigns
  • Deliver consistent, structured performance reporting
  • Lead strategy, buildout, and optimization of Google Ads accounts
  • Conduct structured discovery to understand client services, margins, geographic targets, and KPIs
  • Design scalable campaign architectures (Search, Performance Max, Display, Remarketing, YouTube where applicable)
  • Perform keyword research, search term audits, and competitive analysis
  • Develop negative keyword frameworks
  • Write and test high-performing ad copy and extensions
  • Manage bid strategies and adjust targeting settings
  • Monitor Quality Score, impression share, and conversion trends
  • Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining efficiency thresholds
  • Maintain active financial oversight of advertising spend
  • Monitor daily and weekly pacing
  • Reallocate budgets based on performance data
  • Identify underperforming segments and reduce waste
  • Maintain target CPA, CPL, or ROAS benchmarks
  • Document optimization actions and rationale
  • Configure and manage GA4 event tracking
  • Build and maintain Google Tag Manager containers
  • Set up Google Ads conversion actions and enhanced conversions
  • Implement and maintain UTM governance standards
  • Configure cross-domain tracking where required
  • Implement consent-based tracking using Cookiebot
  • Configure Google Consent Mode
  • Support or implement server-side tracking through Stape (sGTM)
  • Conduct ongoing QA validation to prevent tracking discrepancies
  • Link Google Ads and GA4 to GoHighLevel sub-accounts
  • Ensure accurate UTM capture
  • Configure pipeline attribution visibility
  • Implement offline conversion imports when applicable
  • Conduct monthly attribution audits between ad platforms and CRM data
  • Audit landing pages for performance and conversion effectiveness
  • Ensure proper tracking on forms, booking tools, call buttons, and chat systems
  • Identify user friction impacting conversion rates
  • Provide structured recommendations for improvement
  • Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards
  • Deliver weekly performance summaries
  • Provide structured monthly reports including: Spend, Conversions, Cost metrics, Optimization actions, Strategic next steps
  • Translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for leadership

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on Google Ads management experience
  • Strong proficiency in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting conversion tracking
  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel or comparable CRM systems
  • Understanding of attribution modeling and UTM structures
  • Ability to work full-time aligned with U.S. Eastern Time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Reliable remote work environment and internet connectivity
  • Experience with Stape / server-side tagging (preferred)
  • Experience implementing Cookiebot or consent management tools (preferred)
  • Looker Studio reporting expertise (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients (preferred)
