Job Description
Head of Content transforming business activities into engaging content for personal branding. Leading strategy across social platforms for a Dubai-based marketing firm.
Responsibilities:
- Own the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Develop weekly and monthly content plans aligned with key business moments
- Build thematic pillars, narrative arcs, and recurring formats that create recognizable brand consistency
- Identify trends early and capitalize on them before they peak
- Build and manage a testing framework to continuously improve hooks, formats, and messaging
- Plan and brief daily Stories, Reels, and short-form content
- Write all captions, hooks, and on-screen text with a strong, authentic editorial voice
- Analyze raw footage or voice notes and instantly identify the right angle, structure, and hook
- Coordinate video editors, videographers, and thumbnail designers to ensure quality execution
- Maintain consistent daily and weekly content output with minimal founder involvement
- Produce hooks, taglines, and titles that stop the scroll — and keep people watching to the end
- Develop clipping and repurposing strategies to maximize the value of long-form content
- Transform business situations — operations, supplier visits, meetings, travel — into engaging content
- Build and maintain a consistent personal brand narrative across all platforms
- Stay ahead of algorithm changes and adapt content strategy accordingly
- Analyze analytics data to understand what retains, engages, and converts
- Identify and scale winning formats and angles
- Regularly test new formats, hooks, narrative structures, and content types
- Share performance insights with the founder and translate them into concrete strategic adjustments
- Progressively build and coordinate a full creative team: editors, videographers, assistants, designers
- Brief, manage, and validate the work of creative team members to ensure quality and brand consistency
- Set up systems and processes that allow production to scale without loss of quality
Requirements:
- Must be open to working Dubai hours (ideally based in Europe or North Africa)
- Native or equivalent level of English & French — all content and communication is conducted in French
- Deep, authentic mastery of the Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts ecosystems
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention, virality, and the psychology of short-form content
- Ability to consistently generate high volumes of quality creative ideas
- Strong copywriting skills: captions, hooks, titles, and storytelling
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment with high autonomy
- Proactive, organized, and results-oriented — brings ideas without being asked
- Creative instinct — the ability to see an angle where others only see raw material
- Storytelling talent — transforms business reality into narratives people want to follow
- Organized execution — builds systems, meets deadlines, and maintains production consistently
- Platform nativity — lives and breathes internet culture, understands how attention works

- Experience working with personal brands, entrepreneurs, or content creators (valued, not required)

- Comfortable with occasional travel to Dubai for on-site shoots and collaborations (valued, not required)
- Experience in a high-growth environment (startup, scale-up, agency) (valued, not required)
