Job Description

Lilly consumer marketing leader shaping US brand and experience strategy for life-changing medicines. Leading integrated campaigns, activation, performance, and marketing talent development.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the US Consumer Brand & Experience Strategy
  • Lead planning, execution, and performance management of Activation & Engagement efforts
  • Lead Campaign Strategy Briefs and integrate execution across Consumer Creative & Advertising, Communications, Media, and Digital teams
  • Drive flywheel performance across PESO channels
  • Collaborate with Global TA, US TA, and GCO teams
  • Coach and develop top marketing talent
  • Advance consumer marketing capabilities for future needs
  • Develop consumer and market insights and localize patient flow models for target segments
  • Co-shape US Consumer Strategy, value propositions, differentiators, KPIs, goals, strategic choices, and risk mitigation
  • Define Consumer Activation & Engagement Plans, channel approaches, personalization priorities, and KPIs
  • Develop Therapeutic Area Content Strategy and US Consumer Claims
  • Develop Campaign Strategy Briefs, Experience Briefs, and Tactic Briefs
  • Own the integrated consumer marketing plan, budget, and goals
  • Orchestrate central capability teams for strategic alignment, coherence, efficiency, and performance
  • Partner throughout campaign development and production, drive approvals, and represent the therapeutic area in OPDP processes
  • Lead execution of non-core campaign activation efforts and manage MLRO approvals, Veeva, and lifecycle management
  • Partner with BI&A to connect campaign, program, and tactic metrics to the US Consumer KPI Framework
  • Build a high-performing team and foster an inclusive, accountable, trust-based culture
  • Manage resources and facilitate trade-offs while maintaining standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and external obligations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in healthcare or life sciences and direct-to-consumer marketing in regulated industries
  • Strong track record leading US consumer marketing strategy and execution
  • Experience managing matrixed internal and external teams
  • Experience serving as a bridge and integrator across functions
  • Authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship or visa support
  • Expert competencies in consumer and market analysis, insights, go-to-market strategy, channel innovation, digital innovation, content strategy, consumer experience design, consumer marketing, omnichannel measurement, performance optimization, and programmatic advertising (RTB)
  • Significant experience managing agency or third-party selection for integrated creative and marketing services and driving excellence in an integrated agency team model
  • MBA Degree preferred
