Job Description
Implementation Engineer designing and deploying custom automation solutions for manufacturers. Overseeing engineering designs and ensuring systems function reliably on factory floors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop full engineering designs for custom automation systems
- Work closely with customers to turn manufacturing requirements into robust automation solutions
- Specify and integrate robots, end-of-arm tooling, sensors, and software
- Lead or directly execute on-site installation, commissioning, and validation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues during deployment
- Serve as a technical point of contact during installs
- Document system designs, installation procedures, and lessons learned
- Provide feedback to product, hardware, and software teams to improve standardization
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, robotics, systems integration, or industrial engineering
- Hands-on experience with industrial robots, automation cells, or complex electromechanical systems
- Ability to design complete automation solutions that balance performance, reliability, safety, cost, and ease of deployment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
- Comfort working directly with customers, operators, and internal teams
- A self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects
