Job Description

Instructional Designer developing casualty claims training for Allstate’s adjuster workforce. Designing simulations and facilitating learning to improve claim judgment, negotiation, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of Casualty Injury College to build adjuster capability
  • Design and deliver learning that strengthens claim judgment, evaluation accuracy, negotiation strategy, and customer communication
  • Create practice-based, real-world learning experiences to improve quality, cycle time, and customer satisfaction
  • Coach and support learners and designers through learning exercises
  • Maintain the catalog of offerings and recommend content for business-unit and enterprise needs
  • Coordinate initial setup of classes and learning initiatives
  • Measure learning effectiveness and recommend improvements to learner understanding
  • Design and deliver learning offerings aligned with business and enterprise strategy as part of an agile team
  • Support talent management practices within learning offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners, clients, and cross-functional teams
  • Drive adoption of a skills-based culture through learning design and delivery
  • Participate in audits and quality reviews of learning systems
  • No supervisory duties

Requirements:

  • Casualty claims expertise
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation accuracy and exposure recognition
  • Strong knowledge of medical literacy and causation
  • Strong knowledge of demand handling and negotiation strategy
  • Strong knowledge of litigation fundamentals, discovery, and settlement strategy
  • Strong knowledge of desk and pending management
  • Experience designing blended learning solutions, including ILT, VILT, simulations, job aids, and assessments
  • Ability to deliver engaging, interactive instructor-led and virtual training sessions
  • Ability to design and facilitate end-to-end claim simulations and applied learning experiences
  • Ability to provide actionable coaching and feedback
  • Ability to use data and feedback to evaluate and improve learning outcomes
  • Background investigation required
  • Generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
