Job Description
Training Manager designing compliant learning solutions for AbbVie’s pharmaceutical field sales organization. Coaching trainers and aligning training with brand strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver compliant learning solutions for a field sales organization
- Represent Training & Development and Brand Strategy in training programs and solutions
- Build relationships and credibility with key stakeholders at various levels
- Apply performance coaching, strategy alignment, and training fundamentals to enhance participant learning
- Leverage existing Learning & Development platforms and content within Franchise/Brand training products
- Provide candid verbal and written feedback to training participants, including performance improvement plans
- Coach National Field Trainers across the organization
- Adapt coaching and training techniques to individual skill levels
- Develop Guest Trainers and Rotational Trainers through meaningful class roles and one-to-one coaching
- Integrate training activities into brand team business plans
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects
- Serve as a product and disease-state expert and expert in customer and business skills
- Assist with onboarding, development, and mentorship of other National Field Trainers
- Execute with little guidance from senior leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an Account Executive or District Manager, or 2+ years of sales training experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products, including CFR 210/211 and cGMP
- Prior experience leading projects with regional or national impact
- High-performing sales track record
- Strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
