Job Description
AI automation specialist building agents and integrations for Ventura TRAVEL’s finance team. Streamlining reconciliations, reporting, controls, and cross-system workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Build AI agents and automations that streamline finance work, from reconciliations to reporting and controls
- Connect systems and data sources through APIs and MCPs, including Datev, Payhawk, Data Studio, banks, and Google Drive
- Design workflows that pull data from multiple sources, run checks, and raise alerts or act when attention is needed
- Work alongside the finance team to translate needs into technical solutions and explain choices in plain language
- Standardize and document processes for consistency and maintainability
- Bring new AI tools and ideas to the team as they emerge
- Work independently and collaboratively, anticipate issues, and address them proactively
- Communicate effectively using the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) method
Requirements:
- Proven experience building AI agents or automations that are actually in use, not just prototypes
- Strong skills connecting systems and data sources via APIs, MCPs, or automation tools such as n8n
- Working coding ability and comfort navigating an existing codebase
- Ability to use AI tools to accelerate work while verifying the output
- Excellent communication with non-technical people
- Genuine curiosity and a track record of quickly adopting new AI tools
- Fluency in Spanish and solid English skills (B2 to C1)
- Security- and controls-minded approach when handling sensitive financial data
- Hands-on experience with finance tools such as Datev, Payhawk, or Google Data Studio is advantageous
- Experience working with or inside a finance/accounting team is advantageous
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as n8n and multi-agent or “virtual employee” systems is advantageous
- Experience working in the travel industry is advantageous
