Job Description
IT-Systemadministrator maintaining customer applications, servers, and infrastructure for German IT provider DATAGROUP. Supporting remote operations, system maintenance, updates, and service reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support to customers from the office
- Maintain customers’ IT applications
- Ensure smooth and reliable operations
- Support infrastructure optimization initiatives
- Perform system maintenance
- Install updates
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in IT or several years of professional experience as a career changer
- Ideally, experience with Windows or Linux servers in medium-sized and enterprise environments
- Ideally, knowledge of administering web and application servers (Apache, IIS, Tomcat, reverse proxies) in a multi-tier architecture
- Knowledge of networking
- Experience with ticketing systems is a plus
- Initial experience with Java is desirable
- Very good German language skills (C2)
- Good English language skills (B2)
