Job Description
Area Sales Manager responsible for managing large clients in East Germany, focusing on customer relationships and market growth.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous acquisition and management of major accounts across the sales territory, including end consumers, branch companies, corporate headquarters and subsidiaries.
- Building long-term customer relationships with a focus on marketing the company’s products.
- Conducting and evaluating fleet checks and providing technical support for customer fleets in close coordination with Continental.
- Monitoring planning targets, contribution margins and sales developments to ensure achievement of objectives.
- Responsibility for compliance with credit limits and for receivables management within the assigned customer area.
- Ensuring cooperation with specialist departments, regions and central units through continuous information exchange.
Requirements:
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training or an equivalent qualification.
- Initial field/sales experience.
- Detailed industry knowledge desirable.
- Customer- and service-oriented approach.
- Negotiation skills and a confident manner when dealing with customers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness and strong communication skills.
- Structured and organizational abilities as well as pronounced team skills.
- Basic IT skills and an affinity for diverse software applications.
- Valid Class B driving license (car).
