Job Description
Junior DevOps Engineer supporting GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Helping power cloud contact center software used by customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure
- Assist in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Helm to support deployment automation and orchestration
- Write and maintain automation scripts
- Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices
- Communicate with team members across India and Portugal
- Work primarily in India Standard Time with overlap for coordination with the Portugal-based team
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
- Internship or project-based experience also considered
- Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including compute, networking, and IAM
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and container orchestration
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and GitLab pipelines
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system administration
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams in different time zones
- Flexibility to work in India hours with some overlap with the Portugal-based team
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
- Exposure to other deployment automation tools is an advantage
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK is a plus
- Effective communication in English
