Job Description

Educational Consultant guiding prospective students on opportunities in app development and web development. First touchpoint for course inquiries at Syntax Institute, an EdTech startup.

Responsibilities:

  • First contact: You inform prospective students about our course offerings and assess their individual situation, suitability and learning goals
  • Support: You accompany applicants as the primary point of contact during the initial phone conversation
  • Lead management & CRM collaboration: In close cooperation with Marketing—especially our CRM manager—you support activities such as lead nurturing, funnel development and crafting the right messaging to best reach and engage our target audience

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills: You enjoy interacting with people and can approach applicants openly, empathetically and proactively—even by phone
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and pursuing ambitious goals: You are motivated to hit clear, ambitious targets and to deliver outstanding results
  • Independence and proactivity: You like working autonomously and take responsibility while maintaining an overview, especially when processing incoming applications concurrently
  • Technical skills: Confident use of Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar). Additional HubSpot knowledge is a plus
  • Language skills: You speak and write excellent German and ideally have strong spoken and written English (C1+)
