Job Description
Junior Urban Development Specialist bei syte, einem Münsteraner PropTech-Unternehmen für KI-gestützte Immobilienanalysen. Erstellung digitaler Machbarkeitsstudien und Kundenanalysen zu Bauprojekten.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage analysis assignments from reviewing planning and building law under Section 34 of the German Building Code (BauGB) and the German Land Use Ordinance (BauNVO) through final delivery to the client
- Perform area calculations for floor area ratio (GFZ), site coverage ratio (GRZ), gross floor area (BGF), and residential floor area
- Develop building volumes and massing studies
- Prepare financial feasibility analyses and visualizations
- Convert findings into professional client documents
- Use digital and AI tools, including Claude, as well as specialized research agents
- Independently conduct client kickoff and review meetings
- Capture and understand client requirements
- Communicate findings clearly and reliably
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering
- Sound knowledge of German planning law, particularly Section 34 of the German Building Code (BauGB) and the German Land Use Ordinance (BauNVO)
- Knowledge of area calculations, including GFZ, GRZ, BGF, and residential floor area
- Experience with massing studies and building volume development, e.g., using Forma or similar software
- CAD proficiency in Vectorworks, Archicad, or Revit
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud for visualizations
- Strong affinity for AI and willingness to learn about AI and software
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Strong service orientation and clear, professional client communication
- Native-level German proficiency in speaking and writing (C1/C2)
- English proficiency at B2 level is desirable
- Initial experience in urban planning, real estate development, or architecture—e.g., through internships or working student positions—is preferred
