Job Description
Payer partnerships lead expanding Headway’s insurance-enabled mental healthcare platform. Managing health-plan relationships, contract strategy, market analysis, and data-driven growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage long-term partnerships with some of the largest US health plans
- Navigate contract strategy and renegotiations to optimize partnership structure and success
- Build and grow relationships with health plan teams and leadership across Network, Sales/Commercial, and Product functions
- Lead market analysis and healthcare research to shape strategy
- Use data to generate insights and identify new partnership growth opportunities
- Collaborate with Strategy, Product, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to inform product and operations strategy
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the healthcare space
- Preferably experience in Customer Success, Business Development, or strategic customer-facing roles
- Deep exposure to payer business models and economics
- Ability to build meaningful relationships across all levels of an organization
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and unfamiliar challenges
- Ability to drive outcomes and shape strategy
- Highly data-driven and self-starting
- Ability to drive complex analyses and translate ambiguous problems into actionable insights
- Operational excellence managing multiple high-impact customers and many moving pieces
- Interest in individual growth through open feedback and high autonomy
- Motivation to improve access to mental healthcare
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- Ability to work without requiring current or future visa sponsorship
