Job Description

Leadership Recruiter at Vanta shaping leadership team and practices for technical and non-technical roles. Collaborating with C-suite and VP-level leaders on talent acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for leadership roles across technical and non-technical functions
  • Partner directly with C-suite and VP+ level leaders to define hiring strategy and role scope
  • Lead executive-level search strategy, market mapping, and complex offer negotiations
  • Build and scale executive recruiting best practices, frameworks, and reporting
  • Maintain strong relationships with executive talent and investor talent teams
  • Step in as a utility player on high-priority searches or special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting with at least 3+ years working on leadership level roles
  • Executive Closing - Proven ability to handle complex compensation scenarios and close against top talent competitors for both technical and non-technical leadership roles
  • Executive Client Management - Prior experience working directly with and maintaining strong relationships with C-Level executives and founders.
  • Sourcing / Market Intelligence - Strong business acumen across a variety of tech industries and companies. Expert at understanding the leadership talent landscape across multiple functions. Builds high-quality pipelines for hard-to-fill leadership roles
  • Autonomy & Growth Minded - Able to handle and distill ambiguity, influencing and driving developing leadership roles from scratch. Strong sense of perseverance, resilience, and self-awareness; always growth minded.
  • Critical Thinking / Intellectual Curiosity - Data driven and analytical mindset and operating style. Constantly seeks to improve and learn; asks to understand and learns patterns quickly; applies insights across different functional areas.
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
