Job Description
Learning & Development Coordinator supporting University of Arizona student-experience training and eLearning resources. Coordinating LMS activities, content development, quality assurance, and training communications.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Student Experience Training team in developing, maintaining, coordinating, and delivering engaging and effective learning resources
- Assist with eLearning development, training administration, quality assurance, learning technology, and communication activities
- Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, instructional integrity, accessibility, compliance, quality, brand, and style
- Identify needed corrections or adjustments and escalate questions as appropriate
- Develop storyboards, scripts, outlines, toolkits, job aids, and training communications using established templates, learning objectives, and design standards
- Incorporate interactive elements, assessments, simulations, and multimedia elements with guidance from leadership or instructional designers
- Coordinate routine LMS activities, including training upload and assignment requests, learner and distribution lists, completion reports, and training communications
- Conduct quality assurance testing on learning modules, correct routine issues, and escalate issues requiring additional support
- Participate in feedback sessions with instructional designers, facilitators, stakeholders, and end users; document themes and recommended content adjustments
- Monitor communication channels for policy, process, or procedural updates requiring learning-material changes
- Work under the direction of Learning & Development leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required
- 1 year of relevant work experience required
- Résumé and an example of training content or portfolio work developed by the candidate
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with team members and internal stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Ability and interest in learning new technologies and learning platforms
- Strong attention to detail, organization abilities, and accuracy
- Ability to follow established processes and guidelines, manage routine assignments and deadlines, incorporate feedback, and escalate questions or exceptions appropriately
