Job Description
Licensed therapist providing remote outpatient telehealth care for Brave Health, expanding access to mental health treatment. Diagnosing conditions, planning treatment, and supporting clients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health treatment remotely
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan
- Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Develop treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools throughout the day
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- LMHC and LMFT candidates must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Work-from-home space must provide privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Experience with treatment planning
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to use comprehensive assessments
- Must be comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Must have experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
