Job Description
Freelance translator validating clinical outcome assessment translations for IQVIA’s life sciences language solutions. Ensuring linguistic accuracy across English, German, and French content.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-time, high-quality translations
- Adhere to provided materials and client instructions
- Research industry-specific terminology to reflect source meaning and tone
- Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to check translation quality
- Quality-check translations for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Work with the IQVIA Translation Services team to identify instruction gaps or external issues affecting client commitments
- Flag project-specific queries promptly
- Communicate with Project Management and Vendor Management teams regarding capacity
Requirements:
- Native in the target language
- Fluency in source language(s), spoken and written
- Ability to work according to tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Translation experience with clinical outcome assessments (preferred)
- Prior experience performing Linguistic Validation services, including dual forward translation, reconciliation, and back translation (preferred)
- Strong commitment to accuracy
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Ability to research industry-specific terminology
