Job Description
German female voice talent recording natural, conversational speech for Lilt’s multilingual AI services. Supplying high-quality samples and licensing voice data for AI voice cloning and TTS training.
Responsibilities:
- Record natural, conversational, clear, and approachable German female voice content
- Retain natural pauses, disfluencies, and word emphasis
- Convey friendly, empathetic, patient, intelligent, confident, engaged, trustworthy, welcoming, and accommodating tones
- Maintain an easy-to-follow, consistent moderate pace with natural pauses
- Follow project-specific technical recording requirements
- Submit voice demos and samples
- Complete testing and vetting in Lilt's module when required
- License voice for AI voice cloning/TTS training when applicable
- Complete onboarding, payment-account setup, and remaining application steps after project selection
- Contribute to Lilt's multilingual AI and human-verified language services for enterprises, governments, and AI developers
Requirements:
- Female voice talent with a mature-sounding voice (~35–55 years old)
- Must be a native speaker of the target locale
- Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming
- Access to a professional or high-quality home recording setup
- Microphone, headset/speakers, audio interface, professional digital audio workstation, software, plugins, and treated space
- Quiet recording environment free from background noise, music, clicks, and muffling
- Able to follow technical recording requirements, including volume level, file naming, format, segment gaps, and audio quality
- Able to provide demos, sample recordings, or voiceover samples
- Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and tight delivery deadlines
- Open to licensing voice for AI voice cloning/TTS training
- Able to complete a project test if required
- English-language resume/C.V. required
- Two voice-over samples demonstrating recording quality and vocal characteristics, in WAV or MP3 format
- Able to specify licensing fees and licensing-term stipulations
- Must disclose contractual obligations that could prevent working with Lilt
- Must provide an hourly rate in USD per finished audio
