Job Description
Linux Sales Engineer responsible for analyzing client systems and recommending solutions in the Middle East. Join CIQ to support impactful software infrastructure in high-performance computing.
Responsibilities:
- Showcase excellent communication and client management skills.
- Analyze client organizations’ systems to identify weaknesses and risks.
- Deliver clear, easy-to-understand assessments and provide tangible solutions.
- Be part of the deal team, facilitating the sales process.
- Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and incident resolution in enterprise environments.
- Create architecture solutions that create value for clients.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions to capture key decisions and translate them into relevant documentation.
- Stay up to date on new internal features and product launches.
- Monitor and report on sales performance analytics.
- Recommend innovative ideas to optimize sales.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Linux, combined with pre-sales.
- Demonstrated experience working in a remote team or collaborative environment.
- A background in software, tech, or a related industry is preferred.
- Results-driven with a strong analytical mindset and commercial understanding.
- The ability to prioritize competing priorities and projects.
- Great problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in open-source software, including operating systems, cloud infrastructure, on-prem servers, or a hybrid environment, as well as knowledge in high-performance computing, including automation and orchestration solutions.
- Understanding and respect for UAE business etiquette.
- A friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and always striving-to-be-better attitude.
- Possess a deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server applications.
- Focus and pre-sales experience are most preferred.
