Job Description
Sales Application Engineer increasing sales in industrial, medical, and transportation markets. Managing customer accounts and providing technical support for sensor products.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop new business with new customers in your designated territory.
- Be responsible for the key account management of our large existing customers.
- Win new customers for our sensor product portfolio in industrial, medical, and transportation markets.
- Launch new products in close coordination with our product management and product development teams.
- Maintain direct customer contact and relationship management.
- Provide technical support to our customers and understand the applications and requirements of sensors.
Requirements:
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics.
- Alternatively, you have years of successful experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor industry.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry.
- You have expertise selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components).
- You are enthusiastic about independent, technical, and success-oriented work in harmony with our corporate culture.
- Experience with sales tracking software.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to overcome commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.
- Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables.
