Job Description
M&A Program Manager coordinating acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures at Merative, a health data and analytics company. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of M&A and divestiture projects, including pre-close readiness, Day 1 planning, and post-close integration/separation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Product, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain project plans, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Apply and help refine M&A playbooks, templates, and best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across deals.
- Track synergy realization, integration KPIs, and lessons learned to inform future transactions.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, or enterprise project management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with the M&A lifecycle and experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Confluence, Slack).
- Experience in healthcare or enterprise software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
