Job Description
Manager of Global Payroll & Compliance overseeing payroll accounting and compliance at a SaaS company. Handling multi-state and global payroll responsibilities while ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Own payroll accounting, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance across payroll, tax, benefits, and corporate filings
- Ensure accuracy across payroll systems and global providers
- Oversee payroll tax filings and compliance
- Manage multi-state registrations and compliance
- Support transition from PEO to broker-led benefits model
- Coordinate global payroll and compliance through providers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of global payroll and compliance experience in a growing SaaS company
- Deep understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, and audit processes
- Experience with multi-state payroll tax compliance and registrations
- Exposure to sales tax, corporate filings, and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting benefits accounting and renewals
- Familiarity with systems such as Rippling and global payroll providers (e.g., Remote)
