Job Description

Manages special events programs while aligning business best practices with Sales Operations goals. Collaborates with field personnel for program efficiency at Travel + Leisure Co.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination in planning of special events, including ordering, follow up, shipping & tracking for all events, along with hosting and follow up for associated events.
  • Work closely with field personnel to identify opportunity and implement solutions required for continued growth.
  • Oversee and manage the team to ensure event expenses, forecasting, budgeting, legal and process best practices are always adhered to.
  • Communicate the current successes and opportunities back to corporate leadership and partners as well as the regional and business unit sales and marketing leadership.
  • Support the development of lead and package strategies to provide the program with the best quality of leads through various lead generation efforts while maintaining the profitability of the tour.
  • Support the development of owner and prospect communication strategies and implementation.
  • Responsible for day to day management of the program’s expenses and ensuring the costs are kept down while the tour expectations are always met or exceeded.
  • Travel will absolutely be required in this position and is essential to success. Field presence will be 50% of the time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred
  • Should be able to communicate the insight and ideas effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with management and peers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and implement projects without direct reporting control
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, team contributor, and detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior management
  • Strong planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Computer skills including Outlook, MS Office suite of products
  • Marketing manager experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Understanding of sales and marketing practices in vacation ownership, preferred
  • 3+ years experience in broad-based relationship management or account executive role, or related experience
