Job Description
CVS Health Product Owner supporting PBM pricing and underwriting forecasting tools. Improving models, testing enhancements, resolving production issues, and enabling business users across healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Product Owner for PBM pricing and forecasting tools
- Provide business-user support and resolve questions and problems
- Respond to production-support tickets, isolate root causes, and determine paths to resolution
- Facilitate best-practice user-training exercises
- Suggest and prioritize product improvements based on materiality
- Communicate with business users and ecosystem stakeholders
- Capture and communicate accurate product requirements
- Develop tools and procedures to improve testing and defect resolution efficiency
- Assist with UAT and broader testing efforts to minimize future defects
- Develop financial analyses supporting future modeling improvements
- Design technical solutions and reporting capabilities addressing business issues and concerns
- Assist with implementation and testing of model revisions and enhancements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management, financial/pricing analysis, and/or underwriting experience, or a combination thereof
- Pharmacy benefits management (PBM) or healthcare industry work experience preferred
- Experience working with IT and Agile Scrum methodology preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey complex topics clearly and concisely
- Innovative mindset and ability to work outside established boundaries
- Results-oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals
- Experience developing complex financial solutions and working with technical audiences for proper implementation
- In-depth understanding of drug pricing, healthcare markets, and financial forecasting
- Bachelor's degree or related professional work experience
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business, or other data-related fields preferred
