Job Description

Managing Director leading Nerdio's cloud workspace transformation in partnership with Microsoft. Guiding high-performing sales teams while building strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive exceptional performance.
  • Translate company strategy into clear priorities, goals, and expectations for the team.
  • Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture that values transparency, mutual respect, and accountability.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team success.
  • Further enable and scale a high-performing partner ecosystem that drives predictable revenue, market coverage, and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft's sales teams, channel partners, and direct customers to identify AVD opportunities where Nerdio can offer solutions.
  • Build and nurture executive relationships with key Microsoft and partner stakeholders to drive business growth and increase Nerdio's market presence.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, analyzing performance data to identify areas of improvement and drive sales effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to AVD and EUC.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance Nerdio's offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in sales and leadership in the technology industry selling cloud computing or software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
  • A proven track record of success in sales leadership, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Previous experience in managing a remote or distributed sales teams with strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships or channel relationships.
