Job Description
Market Development Director developing key relationships with KOLs and health systems for United Therapeutics. Driving brand advocacy and ensuring compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Key Health Systems
- Drive UT and brand advocacy
- Serve as main point of contact for key accounts and gather insights for marketing
- Collaborate with other functions to plan interactions with KOLs
- Initiate and lead meetings to identify key issues and trends
- Gather feedback to inform KOL mapping and regional strategy
- Assist in launch planning and internal marketing collaboration
- Provide project KOL recommendations and facilitate KOL engagements
- Operate in compliance with relevant policies and laws
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing or other commercial business role in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing or other commercial business role in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience working KOLs
- Ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships, understand and execute brand and franchise strategy as well as manage projects to hit key deliverables
- Excellent communication, (written and oral) presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and results-driven
- Ability to travel up to 70%
