Job Description
Market Development Manager responsible for identifying new market opportunities for Botanic Tonics. Driving sales growth and forming retail partnerships in the convenience store channel across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Director Sales to identify key regions with high concentrations of new account opportunities.
- Secure new retail partnerships, with a focus on independent and small-chain convenience stores.
- Open accounts with excellence in merchandising.
- Serve as the frontline brand ambassador in new markets.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth handoff of newly opened accounts to local DSD partner for ongoing support.
- Track and report on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive insights from the field.
- Support marketing activations and sampling events with your market/region
Requirements:
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience
- Strong preference for those with knowledge of DSD systems and convenience retail dynamics
- Exceptional at building relationships quickly
- Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently (90–100%)
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communicator, highly organized, and goal-oriented
