Job Description
Content marketing expert designing realistic briefs and evaluation rubrics for Mercor’s simulated AI-agent environments. Reviewing agent performance across research, production, prioritization, and content QA.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real content marketing work, including the issue being tested and the decision a strong practitioner should reach
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong responses
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against professional standards
- Design and pressure-test content marketing environments for evaluating and improving AI agents
- Address research and discovery, editorial prioritization, content production, and content QA and audit
- Work across diagnosing messy or conflicting data, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step work across tools
- Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in content marketing
- Owned an editorial program end to end
- Comfortable working in a CMS such as Contentful
- Experience with Google Analytics 4
- Experience with a research tool such as Semrush
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Completion of a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to content marketing
- Independent contractor status
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
