Job Description
Content marketing expert designing and evaluating simulated work environments for Mercor’s AI training projects. Creating briefs, benchmarks, and QA criteria for realistic marketing tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on work actually performed in content marketing
- Define what each task tests, including planted issues and the decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against practitioner standards
- Create and pressure-test Content Marketing environments covering research and discovery, editorial prioritization, content production, and content QA and audit
- Assess capabilities including diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step orchestration across tools
- Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems with Mercor, which partners with leading AI labs and enterprises
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in content marketing
- Owned an editorial program end to end, not only managed people who do it
- Comfortable working in a CMS such as Contentful
- Comfortable working alongside Google Analytics 4
- Comfortable working with a research tool such as Semrush
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
- Mercor cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
