Job Description
Internship role in marketing and event management for Kipu Quantum, a startup in quantum computing. Supporting the planning and execution of a hackathon in Berlin.
Responsibilities:
- Support in planning, organizing, and executing the Quantum Computing Hackathon in collaboration with the City of Berlin
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness and recruit participants
- Create and maintain the event website and manage related web content
- Assist with organizing the closing event (February/March 2026)
- Develop and execute an editorial calendar for ongoing marketing activities
- Work closely with internal marketing teams and external marketing agencies
- Prepare and maintain presentations, communication materials, and event documentation
- Support project management tasks, including scheduling, budgets, and stakeholder coordination
Requirements:
- Enrolled master's student at a German university, preferably in Event Management, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field
- Ideally available full-time (40 hours/week) for the internship duration (6 months)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a structured, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Creative and self-motivated with a strong interest in marketing, events, and technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (both required)
