Job Description
Material Process Manager optimizing warehouse, inventory, fleet, and asset processes for DEPCOM Power, a utility-scale solar energy solutions provider. Driving standardized logistics, KPI, and change-management practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and continuous improvement of warehouse, inventory, fleet, and asset management processes supporting safe, efficient, and reliable project execution
- Partner with Warehouse, Fleet, Logistics Planning, Procurement, and Construction/Operations teams to align logistics capabilities with project startup, execution, replenishment, and demobilization needs
- Drive inventory accuracy, material visibility, asset utilization, equipment readiness, and documentation compliance through standardized processes and controls
- Translate logistics strategy into scalable process standards, operating routines, reporting tools, and governance practices across regions, warehouses, assets, and projects
- Monitor and improve logistics performance through KPIs, dashboards, and operating reviews
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity, and strengthen project support
- Collaborate across the logistics network to remove process barriers, reduce handoff gaps, and improve coordination between planning, warehousing, fleet operations, material flow, and field execution
- Lead change management efforts, including SOP implementation, training, system adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strengthen accountability, operational excellence, material readiness, process consistency, and logistics capability scalability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, fleet/assets, transportation handoffs, and project support requirements
- Experience developing standard work, SOPs, KPI routines, process controls, dashboards, or operational reporting
- Strong capability in root-cause analysis, cross-functional alignment, stakeholder communication, and change management
- Ability to lead through influence across warehouses, fleet, logistics, procurement, and construction operations teams
- This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- 4-5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, fleet or asset management, supply chain, inventory control, construction operations, or related disciplines, including experience leading process improvement initiatives, operating systems, logistics planning, warehouse or fleet coordination, and cross-functional operational projects
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, asset management, fleet management, GPS/telematics, inventory control, or reporting systems
- Experience supporting multi-site warehouse operations, leased assets, fleet utilization programs, or regional logistics hub models
- Strong financial and operational acumen related to cost control, utilization, inventory accuracy, asset productivity, and process performance
- APICS, CSCP, CPSM, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, OSHA, or related professional certifications are advantageous
- Experience in utility-scale solar, EPC, construction, industrial operations, renewable energy, or large project-based environments is advantageous
