Job Description
Senior Supply Chain Specialist at L3Harris, a defense technology company, managing program material budgets, schedules, forecasts, and supplier performance. Leading cross-functional teams and proposal planning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Supply Chain/Material Management representation and leadership in program support and proposal activities
- Own program material budgets and schedules
- Work directly with Program Management as the primary Supply Chain contact for assigned programs
- Represent Supply Chain on Integrated Program Teams and lead cross-functional teams
- Develop monthly material projections and quarterly estimates at complete (EAC)
- Develop material sales plans, execute them, and identify risks and opportunities around material sales and receipts
- Perform as a Control Account Manager on assigned programs
- Identify material items that do not support program schedule needs and develop plans to reduce schedule risk
- Work with Integrated Program Teams and suppliers to implement schedule improvement opportunities
- Monitor supply chain and material status; support weekly program meetings and monthly program reviews
- Coordinate with Sub-Contract Administrators/Buyers, Engineering, Quality, Scheduling, and Program Office to ensure supplier success and program material meets schedule and budget requirements
- Work with Pricing & Estimating to develop priced Bills of Material meeting FAR requirements
- Calculate and propose supply-chain support hours
- Develop and present supply chain plans covering material, labor support, schedule, and budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant supply chain experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related supply chain experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related supply chain experience
- Knowledge and interest in supply chain management
- Working knowledge of project management methods within the defense acquisition environment, including program planning, integrated master scheduling, budgeting, and earned value management
- Working capability with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Preferred experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) on a program with full Earned Value requirements
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with ownership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop working relationships and build trust across varied individuals
