Job Description
Part-time Home Depot Measure Technician conducting accurate in-home measurements and customer consultations across Pennsylvania. Supporting sales, quote presentations, and installation coordination within a traveling field-services role.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently in a traveling field role supporting The Home Depot's Field Services Organization
- Perform daily in-home measure appointments accurately and efficiently
- Create, maintain, and improve customer relationships through daily customer interaction
- Support sales, product inquiries, in-home measurements, and installation coordination
- Provide a positive customer experience through accurate measurements, calculations, quote review, and presentation
- Complete pre-assigned daily routes within a defined geographic area
- Provide service support to company locations as needed
- Use company-issued devices for all actions
- Ask open-ended questions about customer projects and product needs
- Explain merchandise features and benefits and project steps
- Answer customer questions using product and services knowledge
- Identify opportunities to engage customers in other services programs
- Collaborate with Associates, Supervisors, and Managers
- Follow company policies, procedures, and work schedules
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma and/or GED
- 1+ years of previous related work experience
- No previous leadership experience required
- Must continuously stand or walk
- Regularly lift, handle, or carry moderate-weight material or equipment (8–20 pounds)
- Travel between locations required
- Work completed using company-issued devices
