Job Description
Medical Doctor providing telehealth consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions, and referrals for Australians through Eucalyptus's digital healthcare clinics. Flexible remote scheduling with a minimum of 15 hours weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth consultations with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication where appropriate
- Deliver prompt, empathetic care and an exceptional clinical experience on the platform
- Adhere to platform guidelines and policies
- Complete all required training
- Work within an online medical network supporting Australians living with chronic conditions
Requirements:
- Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or Temporary Resident
- PGY4+
- Experience in one or more of: General Practice Training; General Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Rheumatology, or Immunology rotations; Emergency Medicine; HDU, ICU, or Critical Care; Upper GI, Colorectal, or General Surgery
- Able to obtain a provider number to facilitate pathology testing only; no use of MBS attendance item numbers
- Hold valid medical indemnity insurance
- Comfortable using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Confident making timely, accurate referral decisions based on clinical expertise
- Clear, natural communicator with patients, health professionals, and team members
