Job Description

Business Analyst transforming complex data into compelling insights at BCD Meetings & Events. Engaging with clients to drive informed decision-making through data analytics and visualization projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret and tell a story from client financial, operational and performance data
  • Provide fact-based recommendations to drive program enhancements and reduce costs
  • Test the systems of record for consistency and escalate issues
  • Ensure accurate reporting to support SLA and KPI reporting
  • Benchmark data against industry standards to assist in developing account roadmaps
  • Drive data governance efforts at the account and enterprise level
  • Assist leadership with on-demand reporting requests

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' analytics experience
  • Knowledge of the meetings industry
  • Experience with Cvent meeting technology
  • Prior meeting planning/purchasing experience
  • Complex pivot tables/formulas in Microsoft Excel
  • Running SQL queries
  • Tableau
  • Oracle Database
  • PowerBI (a plus)
  • Presentation skills to clients and internal teams
