Job Description
Business Development Specialist focusing on acquiring new clients and providing payment solutions at TD Merchant Solutions. Building relationships and modernizing how businesses accept payments.
Responsibilities:
- Build a strong pipeline and achieve sales targets within assigned territory
- Act as a trusted payments advisor for small and medium-sized businesses
- Help businesses modernize payment acceptance and grow operations
- Collaborate with internal partners to execute business strategy and expand customer base
- Engage clients in conversations about innovation and efficiency in operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, outbound sales, or merchant acquisition
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) and payments solutions
- Strong ability to uncover merchant needs and position value-based solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with business owners
- Comfort with technology-enabled solutions such as Clover or similar platforms
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
