Job Description

Business Development Specialist focusing on acquiring new clients and providing payment solutions at TD Merchant Solutions. Building relationships and modernizing how businesses accept payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong pipeline and achieve sales targets within assigned territory
  • Act as a trusted payments advisor for small and medium-sized businesses
  • Help businesses modernize payment acceptance and grow operations
  • Collaborate with internal partners to execute business strategy and expand customer base
  • Engage clients in conversations about innovation and efficiency in operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, outbound sales, or merchant acquisition
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) and payments solutions
  • Strong ability to uncover merchant needs and position value-based solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with business owners
  • Comfort with technology-enabled solutions such as Clover or similar platforms
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
