Job Description
Network operations analyst monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing enterprise IT infrastructure. Supporting OSC EdgeTech’s federal and defense customers through incident response and systems integration.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support enterprise infrastructure and services, including networks, servers, databases, storage, applications, and websites
- Manage service outages and degradations through incident detection, ticket management, escalation, communication, and recovery coordination
- Plan and execute Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) while minimizing operational impact
- Investigate incidents, analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and validate corrective actions
- Design, execute, and document integration, end-to-end, regression, and automated testing activities
- Validate system functionality, data flows, APIs, and system-to-system interoperability
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and automated testing capabilities
- Track and document defects, testing results, operational events, procedures, and recovery actions
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, product owners, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure operational readiness
- Participate in Agile activities and support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Support a U.S. Government customer and critical IT systems and services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Network Operations, Systems Integration Testing, IT Operations, or a related technical field
- Experience monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting operational processes
- Experience performing integration, system, or end-to-end testing
- Experience working within Agile environments and utilizing tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Knowledge of IT operations, service monitoring, incident management, and systems integration testing principles and practices
- Understanding of infrastructure, networking, system architecture, and system-to-system interactions
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and validating resolutions
- Familiarity with automated testing concepts and scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Strong ability to produce clear technical documentation and follow established change management and configuration management procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as industry-standard collaboration and ticketing tools
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Physical ability to work in confined rack spaces and perform the listed physical duties
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: Experience supporting Network Operations Center (NOC) environments
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
- Preferred: Experience supporting government or mission-critical environments
- Preferred: CCNP certification
- Preferred: Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Preferred: Active Secret Clearance or higher
