Job Description
NonFood Sales representative selling CORE Foodservice clients’ products to operators. Developing targets, managing CRM activity, and driving quarterly sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Make, obtain, and secure sales through product presentations and customer interaction on behalf of CORE clients.
- Develop and maintain sales with operators.
- Conduct distributor sales meetings, provide sales and product support, and assist with distributor requests.
- Develop and execute 30 High Value Targets quarterly.
- Make a minimum of 10 sales calls per week, or meet sales metrics assigned by the manager.
- Present a minimum of 3 clients and 6 items on each sales call.
- Achieve a minimum 30% overall quarterly close rate.
- Use CRM for sales activity planning and reporting, target and objective planning, and self-management.
- Maintain and update operator profiles, including buyer contacts, market segments, attributes, size, buying group affiliation, distribution channel, and competitive information.
- Prepare and secure sales tools such as samples, programs, and POS materials.
- Support company sales meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, and district sales meetings as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and build trust.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for business purposes.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Passion for the foodservice industry and willingness to stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
- Must be able to work in the United States, as Acosta Group uses E-Verify to validate work authorization.
