Job Description

Senior Leisure Sales Manager expanding Hilton Caribe's leisure partnerships with wholesalers, consortia, and cruise lines. Driving revenue through strategic sales, travel-industry networking, and client engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to expand and strengthen the hotel's leisure market presence
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Wholesale, Consortia, and Cruise Lines accounts
  • Support the Hilton Caribe and report to the Director of Sales
  • Conduct proactive business development, customer engagement, contract negotiations, and industry networking
  • Increase revenue while delivering exceptional service to clients
  • Travel frequently to cultivate relationships, conduct presentations and site visits, host customer events, and showcase the property's offerings
  • Solicit and uncover new business opportunities from US and international operators and travel professionals
  • Grow Wholesale, Consortia, and Cruise Lines accounts
  • Monitor implementation of packages and offers and deploy partnerships
  • Foster relationships with agencies and individual agents
  • Develop sales strategies and plans by analyzing hotel and market trends
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Management leadership on sales and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales teams and Discover Puerto Rico's Leisure Team
  • Collaborate with in-market multi-line representatives
  • Support leisure packages, offers, and promotions with Revenue and Marketing Teams
  • Maintain customer databases and implement e-marketing campaigns
  • Analyze and communicate account marketing opportunities
  • Host and direct Travel Partner FAM trips, site inspections, and on-property events
  • Build additional projects and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of hotel sales experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in leisure sales or retail travel sales
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time nationally and internationally
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Local market knowledge
  • Experience with consortia and wholesale partners
  • Experience collaborating with hotel/resort employees, managers, and directors
  • Experience presenting strategic plans to senior executives and partner groups
