Job Description
Operations Specialist processing safety and pharmacovigilance data for IQVIA’s life sciences and healthcare services. Managing adverse-event records, coding, narratives, and regulatory-compliant delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Review, assess, and process safety data and information across service lines from various sources
- Distribute reports/data to internal and external third parties according to applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines
- Process safety data according to applicable regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements
- Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking incoming Adverse Events and endpoint information
- Determine initial/update status of incoming events
- Enter data into databases
- Code adverse events and products
- Write narratives
- Perform literature-related activities
- Ensure compliance with quality, productivity, and delivery standards
- Liaise with functional team members and healthcare professionals to address project-related issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life sciences or a related field (mandatory)
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory) (will be evaluated)
- Up to 3 years of previous clinical experience (desirable)
- 1 year of pharmacovigilance experience will be highly valued (desirable)
