Job Description
Enhancing project delivery by supporting deployment of Oracle project controls systems at Laminar Projects. Involving requirement gathering, system recommendation, and training.
Responsibilities:
- You will be enhancing the delivery of the most complex and interesting projects in the world by leading and supporting deployment of specialized project controls systems that help streamline operations and make life easier for the project teams.
- You’ll be involved in every phase from gathering requirements and identifying business challenges to recommending the best systems, configuring them with industry-leading practices, and driving training and adoption to make a real impact.
- You’ll join a rapidly growing team responsible for sales and implementation of the project controls systems. There will be opportunities to manage people, lead projects, drive system sales, develop internal processes, and take on key business development activities.
- Adaptability is key. Given our rapid growth, your focus might shift from Oracle systems implementation to planning and project controls when there’s a need. If you're open to that kind of flexibility, this role is for you!
Requirements:
- Mastery: Experience deploying technology in the construction industry, combined with the experience in planning in Primavera P6
- Communication: Proficient communicator in written and verbal English, with ability to convey messages with clarity, motivate teams and lead meetings effectively. Kind and empathetic active listener, capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Leadership: Proactively take ownership of tasks, inspire others through thoughtful questions, and challenge the team to think critically and stay on track
- Impact: A track record of making projects and organisations better beyond just doing the basics
- Nice to Have: Project management, and data visualization skills.
- Communication: The charisma, influence and presence to get construction people to do new things and take the best approach
- Leadership: A proven leader/coach/developer of teams or teams of teams
- Impact: A track record of implementing scalable and repeatable solutions in projects and organisations that had a significant positive impact
