Job Description
Payments Operations Manager leading operational excellence within Conduent's Payment Services Group. Requires strong experience in financial services and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team dedicated to operational excellence within the Payment Services Group
- Responsible for clearing/unposted, redline, probate and reclamation processes within the Payments Back Office Department
- Build and lead the team and functions
- Have experience across domains such as billing, payment, reconciliation, redline recovery and compliance
- Lead complex implementations with outstanding planning and organizational skills
- Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports
- Monitor quality of work done by direct reports to ensure SLAs are met and deliverables are prioritized
- Solid ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desirable
- 8+ years experience as a people manager and manager of operations in some financial capacity
- Experience in the Financial services industry, prepaid card, credit card and payments related operations experience preferred
- Should have former Mastercard or Visa experience and have knowledge of various federal regulations, especially Reg E and how it applies to prepaid cards and be able to apply that knowledge to the teams they will manage.
- Should be familiar with federal regulations in the payments industry
